STOP MOTION FILM MAKING
In this 4 day workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of stop motion filmmaking by combining analog art-making techniques, with digital capture and editing technologies.
Students will be challenged to apply various styles and techniques used in stop motion to their own unique stories with elaborate characters and settings. Films made will be shown in our end-of-summer exhibit!
This class is for young artists ages 8-12. Students who are slightly older are welcome to attend, especially if they are joining a friend or sibling! All supplies and equipment are included in class cost.
Students should bring a refillable water bottle as well as small snack everyday. This camp does include watching stop motions during our snack break.
While we will be using tablets and phones to make our stop motions, we restrict their use outside of the designated camp activity. We also do not allow AI or use of green screens in our programming.
