STOP MOTION FILMMAKING
In this 4 day workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of stop motion filmmaking by combining analog art-making techniques, with digital capture and editing technologies.
Students will be challenged to apply various styles and techniques used in stop motion to their own unique stories with elaborate characters and settings. Films made will be shown in our end-of-summer exhibit!
This class is for middle & high school students, and shorter in duration than our Elementary aged camps. This camp does include watching stop motions, during which students are welcome to snack. They should bring a refillable water bottle as well as small snack everyday.
While we will be using tablets and phones to make our stop motions, we restrict their use outside of the designated camp activity. We also do not allow AI or use of green screens in our programming. All supplies are included in class cost.
