  • Acceptance & scholarships will be given on a rolling basis after May 1

SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS

Full & partial scholarships for summer art camps at The Waterworks are available thanks to our partnership with the St. Johns Cultural Council and the generosity of our community. Funds are raised via tax-deductible donations made to the St. Johns Cultural Council, as well as through our live screenprinting events & adult figure drawing classes.

We understand that the high supply cost and the financial commitment to exploring art-making can be a barrier to its transformative benefits. We firmly believe the power of creative exploration should be accessible to all, and we will continue to find ways to share that impact with our community.

"When we dream alone it is only a dream, but when many dream together it is the beginning of a new reality."

-Friedensreich Hundertwasser

2024 SJCC ART CAMP APPLICATION

The scholarship application is built-in to the overall camp application below and is based on financial-need. If applying for a scholarship, this should be filled out by the child’s primary financial provider.

Names will be omitted during processing to protect your privacy. The names of recipients of financial awards will never be shared without explicit consent. Scholarships are awarded based on need and in the order they are received.

Make Space does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion or creed, gender, gender expression, age, ancestry, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, military status, or any other restricting classification in its selection of scholars.

If we are unable to offer your student a place in our camps this summer, you will be included on the waitlist in the event of cancellations. We also encourage you to apply to our year-round “Rolling Scholarship” fund when it returns for our fall classes!
