FILMLAB PALESTINE DOUBLE FEATURE

  • Make Space Workshop + Classroom 39 Masters Drive St. Augustine, FL, 32084 United States (map)

Palestine Cinema Days: Around The World.

Make Space is proud to partner with Compassionate St. Augustine & Filmlab Palestine for this special double feature on November 2 as a part of this global cinematic event.

Showing will start at 4 PM with the documentary “A State of Passion,” followed by an intermission discussion and ending with the film “Divine Intervention.” Guests are welcome to stay for both films or choose one.

This is a free community event but you must RSVP as space is limited.

This global event organized by Filmlab Palestine is committed to amplifying Palestinian stories and building a network that keeps their stories in circulation, refusing silence. With its slogan “Emancipatory Film Culture in, from, and for Palestine”, the non-profit organization has strived since 2014 to promote, revive, and expand one of the most effective audiovisual tools for self-expression, storytelling, and the preservation of collective memory: Cinema.

Please feel free to bring a small snack and drink, or refillable water bottle. We have various chairs but you may want to bring a pillow or blanket for added comfort.

Donations will be collected during the RSVP and in person for the Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s fund. This Fund is dedicated to the children of Gaza: providing medical attention to the children who need it the most and helping to relieve the medical sector in Gaza and Lebanon.
