Ceramics & Printmaking
with Ms. Bre
This 3 week class will incorporate actual plants in the creation of "art-ifacts." In the first week students will make clay pots and press the plants into the clay. As always, there is extra time and material for more clay play. The pots will be fired in the kiln and the plants turn to ash!
The second week, students will glaze the pots, and prepare our plant screens for printing. The final week will be spent printmaking & planting in our pots!
HOMESCHOOL OPTION: Fridays at 10 AM, Oct 16/23/30. Email us hello@makespaceworkshop.com to register for homeschool!
This class is for young artists ages 7-12. All supplies and equipment are included in class cost with the option to bring in a blank shirt, tote or tea towel to screen print on. Student work will all be finished and taken home on the last day.
