BEGINNER WHEEL THROWING!
Learn the basics of wheel throwing over the course of 4 weeks. Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of wheel throwing and functional design. Creating shapes ranging from bowls to cups and even plates, this class is perfect for beginners looking to get their feet wet and hands dirty. It is also suitable for those with experience to fine-tune their practice!
Class cost includes all supplies during each weekly session. Students are also welcome to take advantage of our studio member hours during the 4-week course for an additional visit each week, with clay available to purchase by the lb. Wheel throwing is a practice that requires lots of trial & error, so we highly encourage beginners to come in & throw down as much as possible!
Additional studio visits can also be spent trimming, adding handles, or glazing. This extra time is especially great for those who wish to use our underglaze library for more illustrative surface design.
MISSING CLASS: There are no instructor make-up options for this course, but if you have to miss a class, you are welcome to come in during member hours to make up wheel time independently! Please arrange the make-up wheel time with Breanne, and she will provide you with clay
